The purpose of Mechatronics Engineering, which is an interdisciplinary engineering branch, is to bring together the general principles of mechanics, electronics, control theory, and computer engineering and to bring economic and reliable systems to life.
Cankaya University Mechatronics Engineering Department, which was established in 2011, is a 4-year undergraduate program and the language of instruction is 100% English. The Department has a well-equipped laboratory and classroom infrastructure with its distinguished academic staff who are experts in their fields, proven themselves in scientific studies and have experience in teaching and industry.
Students graduating from our department get the title of “Mechatronics Engineer”. Mechatronics Engineers are registered to TMMOB Chamber of Mechanical Engineers and authorized according to their areas of expertise.
Mechatronics Engineers: can find the opportunity to work in factories, construction sites, power plants, research centers, manufacturing industry, energy industry, construction industry, chemical industry, defense industry, and pharmaceutical industry. It has the privilege of finding priority jobs in high-tech companies operating with production systems integrated by computers, and in research centers that develop and use advanced automation products. Thanks to their ability to follow technological developments, they will be able to work more competently than other engineering branches, work in development and innovation in factories and workshops, as well as freelance.
